Dedicated to family law.
I am a barrister who practices exclusively in family law.
I was admitted as a solicitor in February 2011, and called to the Bar in May 2018.
My practice focuses on assisting families with navigating the family law system strategically and in a way that minimises the impact of separation on the family unit where possible.
I have a particular interest and experience in complex parenting matters involving family violence, allegations of family violence, mental ill health, substance abuse issues and neglect.
I advise and appear in matters involving the following:
Parenting matters, including matters in the Evatt or Magellan Lists, relocation, recovery, location orders and contraventions;
Property matters;
De facto law.
I regularly appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in Parramatta, Sydney, Wollongong and Dubbo. I also appear in the Newcastle and Canberra registries, and accept other regional and interstate briefs.
I am skilled at negotiation, evidence analysis, cross-examination, strategic planning and advice, and courtroom advocacy.
I am a member of the NSW Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
In 2024, I was recognised in Doyle’s Guide in the category Leading Family Law Junior Counsel - New South Wales .
